Caer Mynydd Caravan Park
The magnificent views of the Clwydian Range and Moel Fammau makes Caer Mynydd Caravan & Camping Park a unique place to stay in North Wales.
If you are looking for a countryside retreat where you can relax and enjoy some of the best scenery Wales can offer then look no further. Situated in the hills above Denbigh, Caer Mynydd is close to the peaceful Denbigh Moors and the breathtaking Llyn Brenig, great for fly fishing and country walks.
For the children, the seaside resorts of Llandudno, Prestatyn, and Rhyl are close by.
There's a good range of shops in Llandudno. For bargains, the Tweed Mill Factory Outlet is at St. Asaph a few miles north of Denbigh.
There's lots of history in north Wales with many thirteenth century castles to explore in the area. Or, how about a ride on the steam railway or on a horse-drawn canal barge in Llangollen?
Situated in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Saron, set in the beautiful hills between Denbigh and Ruthin, with fabulous views across the Vale of Clwyd towards the nearby Clwydian Hill Range and close to Lake Brenig, great for fly fishing and country walks.Caer Mynydd Caravan and Camping Park is a family run business, established in 1962 and purchased by the current owners in January 2007. Popular with families and couples. There is a small but popular play area for the children.
There is a well equipped centrally heated utility building (built in 2003) with ample toilet and shower facilities available. An outside dish washing area is at one end of the utility building. We also cater for the disabled with a private wet room.
On-site is a small shop and launderette, otherwise there are no shops in the hamlet of Saron. There are shops in the towns of Denbigh and Ruthin. The nearest pub is approximately 3 miles away in the village of Cyffylliog.
Supervised barbeques are welcome at Caer Mynydd.

Open Llanbedr Airfield
With lack of jobs since the airfield closed down, Kemble estates are trying to open this former airfield again.
In this part of Wales there is an urgency for jobs, and over time, if the airfield was to reopen, jobs would be created, not just by Kemble, but other businesses who would be leasing the building on the former RAF site, stopping people moving out of the area in search of jobs.
By joining our Facebook group you are for the airfield reopening, and fully support the future of the site.
