Dalar Farm in Wales

Dalar Farm is a traditional working smallholding with a warm welcome for friends old and new.

Situated some 4 miles north of Barmouth, just off the A496 Harlech road, visitors to Dalar enjoy easy access to the safe sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, which are just a 5-minute walk from the farm.

With clear views of the beautiful Llen Peninsula and flanked on all sides by the impressive mountain ranges of Snowdonia, Rhinog and Cader Idris, this is the perfect place to get away from it all.

The camping area is clean and flat, well drained and sheltered, with toilets, hot showers, washbasins and electric shaver points.

It is bordered by the Ysgethin River, which is more of a quiet babbling stream than a river and is ideal to let the children paddle in on a hot summer day.

There are four 6-berth caravans for hire, sited in the orchard and surrounded by well-tended grass and mature bushes.

The caravans are fully equipped with mains electricity, provided by a coin meter (coins are available from the farm house), fridge, 4-ring gas cooker with oven and grill, colour TV and 3 of the caravans have their own showers. (Please note that personal linen, i.e. sheets, towels, pillowcases are not provided).

Rates vary according to the time of year and are available on request.

The touring caravans enjoy the same facilities as the camping, plus electric hook-ups are available.

The touring caravan site is situated next to the camping site and is also bordered by the Ysgethin River.
