The campsite at Hafod Dywyll farm has welcomed generations of campers who enjoy its informal atmosphere.
With its river side location and fantastic views all around this is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Welsh Countryside of Meirionydd. The farm has a plethora of footpaths to be explored, or you can enjoy the activities of a typical family run hill farm. The site is close to the Kings Youth Hostel (small shop available), and under 5 miles from Dolgellau. A ten minute drive will take you to the glorious sandy beach at Fairbourne and the minature steam railway. The seaside town of Barmouth is 20 minutes drive north.
Suitable for tents, small caravans and camper vans. If you want to make a group booking arrangements can be made to use a different field.
The site has 5 toilets and 2 showers. Small campfires are allowed. The site is in a valley which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its Oak woodlands. Any cutting of wood is not allowed, however bags of logs are available at a very competitive price at the farm.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead.
